How can ANY Of you homers HONESTLY say this isn't his fault? He is a selfish POS who screwed over the organization on purpose.. what a load of bs.

Yeah dude, i've got a list of 4 teams here i'll go to...

Ok, we got a trade done with Boston...

Oh wait... did I say 4 teams? I meant just the Penguins. I don't care if you get shafted on the return *cries and throws arms in the air* I WANNA WIN NOW!!!

*rampant crying and whining ensues*

Jarome is a beeeitch. Lost all respect for the guy. I hope Chara puts him into the partition like Pacioretty. Clown.

You think he resigns with you guys and if so that would obviously make that trade for him that much sweeter also what do you think is a fair price for Jbo I know it is high but is a 1st a must and if it isn`t what needs to be included to make it sufficient

Rebuilding as Feaster sees fit???? You really beleive that?

I love Iggy. He was one Flame that played the game the right way. I however will NOT be cheering for the Pens. Cant stand the holier than though attitude of the organization. I will be cheering for an early round exit, and hence, a better pick from the trade. Because like it or not...That pick is the only thing they got out of the trade. Agostino may be a bottom 6 guy one day, but likely not. Hanowski will be a UFA in August and will be gone without ever signing a deal with the Flames.

Its a shame....

Calgary gave him the NTC. His purpose in waiving it is to put himself in the best position to win a Cup. What's he supposed to do? Make that chance less so that Feaster can have a slightly better deal? After he toiled in Calgary for years despite them never really giving him a realistic chance to win since 2004? Horsepoop.

I think Jarome earned the right to pick and choose where he wanted to go, he owes the Flames organization nothing, they paid him well and he earned every dollar while being one of the classiest guys in the league.

I don't like the Pens, but it'll be entertaining to watch.

The point is...Once you give your list, GM's from around the league say that that IS in effect waiving to go to any of those teams. The GM then gets to negotiate the best possible deal with all on the list. The Flames have said if they did it again, they would get the list in WRITING. Jarome reneged on the list. That is on him. Feaster (cant believe I'm defending him) worked on the premise that Jarome had already waived to go to any of the 4 teams on his list. They were forced to take a MUCH worse package from Pitt.

I remember one situation. I forget what sport it was but basically a team wanted to trade one of their star players who had a NTC. They negotiated a trade with a team he had agreed to go to but then the player refused to waive because he though the team that was acquiring him was giving up to much in the trade. So he forced his team to renegotiate another trade with a lesser return. I wish I could remember who it was.

Cant see him resigning for 3-4 years, maybe a 1 year deal before he retires & then on to management. Yeah he kinda pulled one on us, whatever, he could & he did & now its done. He will be one of my favorite Flames but the last 3 years his play was so inconsistent & his Corsi numbers were horrible. Continuing to structure our team around him while the league got younger condemned us to mediocrity. The proud and cherished moments he has given us will never be forgotten. It was time to move on. I'm glad to see the class of the Flames for not making an issue of this & to let him move on on his terms & wishes. Someone will give him 6.0 mill a year for 3 years but it wont be the Flames. As for JBO. The whole point of trading him & Iggy & probably Cammi & even maybe Kipper is to rebuild. There is no way Jersey would get a sniff of him without the 2013 1st rounder in the package. We will have no problems getting that & more because at least JBO only wants a playoff team to be traded to, not just the Penguins.

The Devils have some decent prospects. I don't think there has to a a first round draft pick. Even so I'm ok with 2014 rather then 2013 if it comes down to that.

I see ole Garth is hoping they can get a 1st rounder for Regehr, as a rental If Buffalo gets that, I fire Feaster immediately. Cant see it though but will be interesting to see what they can get.

Yea I would love Jbo but most players that you would love to have cost more then what you want to give up to get them. If this draft was not as good as it is and we didn`t get punished by the league for the Kovy contract then I would give a first but we have this year and next to give up a first round pick and I doubt we do this year with the draft being what it is so we won`t have one next year

That is the problem though we have to give up a first this year or next for circumventing the CBA or whatever with the Kovy contract we have already given up money and a third for it and we have this year and next to give up a first

I thin you gys give it up this year. You had to choose from one of three seasons and you already used drafts picks last year and the year before so your pick this year is gone.

First of all I like Jerome. I heard for the first time this week that the Classy Iginla was all sweet in front of the camera but behind the scene was a diva. Even the co announcer said Really

The announce said yes he had heard multiple stories that the sweet classy guy in front of the camera was a front ,and that he didn't have much more to go on other than hearsay.

So reading this rant by NorCalAvsFan is interesting. Don't shoot I am just the messenger and curious to know what went on behind closed doors too.

Dude, we dont have too many players that will garner a guy with Feasters trading skills a no brainer 1st back. JBO is one of of them. Anything less would have to be on a Couturier type of win with no 1st involved. We need 1st's in this draft coming up & as many good prospects. You know the sad thing is there was an NHLE conversion they rank prospects based on their performance in different leagues & there are different formulas. The two kids we got from Pitt would have slotted 1 in 4th & the other in like 6th (not counting Goalies in this process). How pathetic is our cubboards.

We could still get a 2014 draft pick instead. I wouldn't mind that for all I know the devils could miss the playoffs next year. This year it looks like they won't. So if they miss next year that makes that pick more valuable.

I have no doubt there was a lot of smoke blowing. He could hardly contain his excitement to go to Pitt & out of this rathole. One thing that amused me is during his presser he refered to the rebuild or whatever. He knew full well Ken King hates, just hates the word rebuild. You say rebuild & that impacts ticket sales and the sponsorship revenue & potential price increases. You will never ever hear Ken King say the word rebuild. He will give you every other name possible. I think Jarome was pissed he got the light shined on him for how this thing went down. Whatever, its done, we can actually start building a contender again. As KK would say, we can now retool & go a new direction.

Feaster neglecting due dilligence again. Iginla didn't have to waive at all.
